Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperkirakan nilai ekonomi dari sebuah pemandian alam di kabupaten Klaten, beserta analisis karakteristik penduduk yang mempunyai permintaan atas pemandian alam tersebut. Objek penilaian adalah Pemandian Alam Umbul Manten yang berada di Klaten, Jawa Tengah. Untuk mengetahui karakteristik pengunjung pemandian alam umbul manten, maka digunakan analisis statistik deskriptif. Untuk mengestimasi nilai ekonomi wisata Pemandian Alam Umbul Manten, data yang diperoleh dari metode biaya perjalanan dapat dianalisis dengan uji analisis regresi linier berganda. Dari hasil survey diketahui bahwa Pemandian Alam Umbul Manten merupakan barang publik local yang dimanfaatkan oleh penduduk sekitar. Dari hasil regresi berganda diketahui bahwa determinasi frekuensi kunjungan ke objek wisata Pemandian Alam Umbul Manten dipengaruhi oleh jarak dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000. Hasil uji t menunjukkan bahwa nilai t untuk biaya perjalanan, umur, serta jarak bertanda negatif. Variabel tersebut berkorelasi negatif terhadap jumlah kunjungan. Kemungkinan lebih besar saat biaya perjalanan, umur serta jarak semakin besar, maka jumlah kunjungannya akan semakin sedikit. Estimasi nilai surplus konsumen per orang per kunjungan adalah RP211.943. Nilai manfaat ekonomi total, khususnya nilai wisata adalah sebesar Rp23.207.709.146./ This research aims to estimating the economic value of a natural bath in Klaten, along with an analysis of the characteristics of the population who have demand for these natural baths. The object of the assessment is the Umbul Manten Natural Bath in Klaten, Central Java. To determine the characteristics of visitors to the Umbul Manten natural bath, descriptive statistical analysis was used. To estimate the economic value of Umbul Manten Natural Baths tourism, the data obtained from the travel cost method can be analyzed by using multiple linear regression analysis. From the survey results, it is known that the Umbul Manten Natural Bath is a local public good that is used by local residents. From the results of multiple regression, it is known that the determination of the frequency of visits to the Umbul Manten Natural Baths is influenced by distance with a significance value of 0,000. The t-test results show that the t-value for travel costs, age, and distance is negative. This variable is negatively correlated with the number of visits. The possibility is greater when travel costs, age and distance are greater, the number of visits will be less. The estimated value of consumer surplus per person per visit is RP211,943. The value of the total economic benefits, especially the value of tourism, is Rp. 23,207,709,146.
