Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implications of the COVID-19 pandemic and financial structure which is divided into capital structure, working capital, firm size, and sector on the financial performance of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This type of research is included in quantitative research with secondary panel using data regression methods. The research sample is data obtained from the company's financial statements and the Bloomberg Terminal. The research sample was obtained by means of purposive sampling. The data obtained was analyzed using a random effect regression model using the help of the STATA 17 application. The results of this study indicate that the COVID-19 pandemic period had a negative and significant effect on the company's financial performance. The results of the study also show that capital structure, working capital, firm size have a positive and significant effect on the company's financial performance. Howewer, the sector has no significant effect on the company's financial performance. Keywords: Financial performance, pandemic, COVID-19, capital structure, capital structure, working capital, firm size, sector Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implikasi pandemi COVID-19 dan struktur keuangan yang dibagi atas capital structure, working capital, firm size, dan sector terhadap kinerja keuangan perusahaan yang tercatat di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Jenis penelitian ini termasuk ke dalam jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode regresi data panel menggunakan data sekunder. Sampel penelitian ini merupakan data yang diperoleh dari laporan keuangan perusahaan dan Bloomberg Terminal. Sampel penelitian ini diperoleh dengan cara purposive sampling. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan random effect model regression dengan menggunakan bantuan aplikasi STATA 17. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa periode pandemi COVID-19 berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja keuangan perusahaan. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa capital structure, working capital, firm size berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja keuangan perusahaan. Akan tetapi, sector tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja keuangan perusahaan.
