Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak dari pandemi covid-19 pada salah satu perusahaan di industri perhotelan, yaitu PT Hotel Sahid Jaya Interntional Tbk. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan analisis bisnis, analisis rasio keuangan, dan analisis kebangkrutan dengan metode Altman Z-Score. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa PT Hotel Sahid Jaya International Tbk memiliki kekuatan pembeli, ancaman produk substitusi, dan persaingan antar kompetitor yang tinggi, namun memiliki ancaman pendatang baru dan kekuatan pemasok yang rendah. PT Hotel Sahid Jaya International Tbk telah menerapkan cost leadership dengan bekerja sama dengan perusahaan anak untuk manajemen hotel serta menerapkan differentiation dengan meluncurkan empat produk inovatif sesuai dinamika dan kebutuhan pasar saat ini. Rasio keuangan PT Hotel Sahid Jaya International Tbk cukup baik untuk rasio solvabilitas meskipun memburuk di tahun 2020, namun untuk rasio likuiditas dan profitabilitas kurang baik. Dalam menghadapi pandemi covid-19, PT Hotel Sahid Jaya International Tbk telah melakukan penekanan biaya, namun penurunan biaya tidak dapat mengimbangi laba perusahaan yang semakin menurun. Selain itu, hasil analisis Altman Z-Score PT Hotel Sahid Jaya International Tbk berada pada kondisi sehat pada tahun 2018 dan 2020, namun kondisi abu-abu pada tahun 2020. Kata kunci: PT Hotel Sahid Jaya International Tbk., analisis bisnis, analisis rasio keuangan, Altman Z-Score, pandemi covid-19 Abstract This study aims to determine the impact of the covid-19 pandemic to one of hospitality industry company, specifically PT Hotel Sahid Jaya International Tbk. The method used in this study is a quantitative method using business analysis, financial ratio analysis, and bankruptcy analysis using the Altman Z-Score method. The results of this study conclude that PT Hotel Sahid Jaya International Tbk has high risk in buyer power, substitute product, and competition among competitor risk, but low risk in threat of new entrants and supplier power. PT Hotel Sahid Jaya International Tbk has implemented cost leadership by collaborating with subsidiaries for hotel management and implementing differentiation by finding four innovative products according to the dynamics and needs of the current market. Financial ratio of PT Hotel Sahid Jaya International Tbk are sufficient for the solvability ratio although it improves in 2020, but the liquidity and profitability ratios are low. In facing covid-19 pandemic, PT Hotel Sahid Jaya International Tbk has done cost reductions, but cost reductions cannot make the company's profit decrease further. In addition, the results of the Altman Z-Score analysis of PT Hotel Sahid Jaya International Tbk were in a healthy condition in 2018 and 2020, but a gray condition in 2020..
