Abstract

Komponen pembentuk nilai persediaan perusahaan manufaktur cukup beragam dan berdasarkan proses pembuatan persediaan manufaktur dibagi menjadi persediaan yang masih berbentuk material, barang dalam proses, barang jadi sehingga hal tersebut menjadi tantangan perusahaan manufaktur dalam menentukan kebijakan akuntansi supaya minim salah saji. Audit diperlukan untuk memberikan keyakinan atas pencatatan akuntansi perusahaan tidak terdapat salah saji yang tidak wajar. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk meninjau kembali prosedur audit persediaan yang telah dilakukan KAP Darsono dan Budi Cahyo Santoso dalam menguji asersi PT X agar sesuai dengan Standar Profesional Akuntan Publik dan Auditing and Assurance Services oleh Arens et. al. (2017) edisi keenam belas. Metodologi penelitian menggunakan studi kepustakaan dan bertanya dengan mengajukan daftar kuesioner kepada auditor yang bertugas mengaudit persediaan PT X. Pelaksanaan audit mengenai siklus persediaan PT X oleh KAP Darsono dan Budi Cahyo Santoso telah sesuai dengan teori dan standar yang berlaku. The components that make up the inventory value of manufacturing companies are quite diverse and based on the manufacturing process, manufacturing inventory is divided into inventory that is still in the form of materials, work in process, finished goods so that it becomes a challenge for manufacturing companies in determining accounting policies so that there is minimal misstatement. An audit is needed to provide assurance that the company's accounting records do not contain unreasonable misstatements. This study is intended to review the inventory audit procedures that have been carried out by KAP Darsono and Budi Cahyo Santoso in testing PT X's assertions to comply with the Professional Standards of Public Accountants and Auditing and Assurance Services by Arens et. al. (2017) sixteenth edition. The research methodology uses library research and inquiry by submitting a list of questionnaires to the auditor in charge of auditing PT X's inventory. The audit of PT X's inventory cycle by KAP Darsono and Budi Cahyo Santoso is in accordance with applicable theory and standards.
