Abstract

Aset tetap yaitu aset berwujud yang dipergunakan dalam pembuatan atau distribusi barang/jasa, dapat disewa atau dikendalikan untuk waktu yang lama. Aset tetap merupakan investasi perusahaan yang berkontribusi besar dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan operasional dan kelangsungan hidup perusahaan. Oleh karena itu, dalam mencatat aset tetapnya harus sesuai dengan standar yang berlaku yaitu PSAK 16. PSAK 16 memuat sejumlah pedoman mengenai pencatatan aset tetap meliputi pengakuan, pengungkapan, pengukuran, penghentian dan lain sebagainya. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada PT Mustika Ratu Tbk dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan PSAK 16 terhadap pencatatan akuntansi aset tetap PT Mustika Ratu tahun 2020. Dalam penulisan karya tulis ini, metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah studi kepustakaan, yang mengacu pada studi teoritis dan referensi lain tentang nilai-nilai, budaya, dan norma-norma yang muncul dalam lingkungan sosial tertentu. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, dapat disimpulkan bahwa secara keseluruhan PT Mustika Ratu telah menerapkan PSAK 16 dalam mencatat aset tetap yang dimilikinya pada laporan keuangan. PT Mustika Ratu diharapkan tetap menjaga konsistensi dalam hal keandalan laporan keuangan./ Fixed assets are tangible assets that used in the manufacture or distribution of goods/services, and it can be rented or controlled for a long time. Fixed assets are also categorized as company investments that contribute greatly to the implementation of operational activities and the survival of the company. Therefore, the recording of fixed assets must be in accordance with the applicable standard, namely PSAK 16. PSAK 16 contains a number of guidelines regarding the recording of fixed assets including recognition, disclosure, measurement, termination and so on. This research was conducted at PT Mustika Ratu Tbk with the aim of finding out how to apply PSAK 16 to the accounting records of PT Mustika Ratu's fixed assets in 2020. In writing this paper, the data collection method used is a literature study, which refers to theoretical studies and other references, about the values, culture, and norms that arised in a particular social environment. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that overall PT Mustika Ratu has implemented PSAK 16 in recording its fixed assets in the financial statements. PT Mustika Ratu is expected to maintain consistency in terms of reliability of the financial statements.
