Abstract

Penelitian ini bertunjuan untuk melakukan peninjauan atas penerapan akuntansi pelaporan keuangan pada entitas nirlaba sesuai dengan standar yang berlaku di Indonesia. Objek yang dipilih untuk penelitian dan penulisan karya tulis ini adalah salah satu Gereja yang terdapat di medan, yaitu Gereja Batak Karo Protestan (GBKP) Km. 4 Medan. Penulisan peneilitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan metode penelitian kepustakaan, dengan mengumpulkan data yang diperlukan berupa buku laporan keuangan Gereja yang menjadi objek serta sedikit wawancara bersama tokoh yang bersangkutan. Fokus dalam penelitian ini adalah meninjau dan meneliti penerapan standar akuntansi oleh Gereja dalam pelaporan keuangan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelaporan keuangan yang di buat oleh Gereja masih sangat jauh dari standar yang berlaku, masih terdapat banyak laporan yang tidak dicantumkan oleh Gereja yang sifatnya mutlak, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa Gereja belum menerapkan standar akuntansi yang berlaku pada pelaporan keuangan nya. / The research aims to conduct a review of the application of financial reporting accounting in non - profit entities in accordance with applicable standards in Indonesia. The object chosen for research and writing of this paper is one of the churches in Medan, namely Gereja Batak Karo Protestan (GBKP) Km. 4 Medan. The writing of this research uses a descriptive method with library research methods, by collecting the necessary data in the form of a church financial report book which is the object and a few interviews with the figures concerned. focus of this research is to review and examine the application of accounting standards by the Church in financial reporting. The results of this study indicate that the financial reporting made by the Church is still very far from applicable standards, there are still many reports that are not included by the Church which are absolute in nature, so it can be concluded that the Church has not implemented accounting standards that apply to its financial reporting.
