Abstract

Kebijakan Stock Split atau pemecahan saham adalah kebijakan yang tidak boleh dilakukan sembarangan. Kebijakan stock split juga tidak selalu memberikan dampak positif ke nilai perusahaan terutama untuk perseroan terbuka yang sahamnya diperjualbelikan di masyarakat umum. Pemecahan saham ini umumya digunakan oleh perusahaan untuk membuat saham menjadi semakin terjangkau sehingga dapat memperluas distribusi saham hingga mencapai trading range. Mengingat dampak dari stock split, kebiijakan ini juga akan berpengaruh kepada nilai perusahaan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari kebijakan stock split kepada nilai perusahaan apakan akan menambah nilai perusahaan atau mengurangi nilai perusahaan dengan mengambil titik kritis pada tanggal 09 Juli 2021 yaitu saat berlakunya peristiwa stock split. Titik acuan untuk melakukan penilaian adalah perbandingan antara nilai perusahaan pada triwulan II dan triwulan III tahun 2021. Metode penilaian yang dilakukan adalah menggunakan pendekatan data pasar yaitu metode pembanding perusahaan tercatat di bursa efek dan pendekatan pendapatan dengan metode diskonto arus kas. Hasil penilaian menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan stock split yang dilakukan PT Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya Tbk berpengaruh positif terhadap nilai perusahaan./ The stock split policy also does not always have a positive impact on company value, especially for public companies whose shares are traded in the general public. This stock split is generally used by companies to make shares more affordable so that they can expand the distribution of shares to reach the trading range. Given the impact of a stock split, this policy will also affect the value of the company. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the stock split policy on the value of the company whether it will increase the value of the company or reduce the value of the company by taking the critical point on July 9, 2021, which is when the stock split event takes effect. The reference point for conducting the assessment is the comparison between the company's value in the second quarter and the third quarter of 2021. The valuation method used is the market data approach, namely the guideline publicly traded company method and the income approach with the discounted cash flow method. The results of the assessment show that the stock split policy by PT Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya Tbk has a positive effect on firm value.
