Abstract

Sejarah mencatat pada tahun 1975 terjadinya perang di Vietnam yang mengharuskan hampir semua warga Vietnam meninggalkan negaranya dan memilih untuk mengungsi. Dampak dari perang tersebut warga Vietnam memilih untuk mengungsi ke Negara lain, salah satunya yaitu Indonesia. Karena banyaknya jumlah pengungsi yang berdatangan membuat pemerintah Indonesia membangun tempat khusus pengungsian untuk menampung beberapa pengungsi yang berlokasi di pulau Galang. Tempat pengungsian yang dibangun dengan fasilitas lengkap yang dapat menunjang kehidupan pengungsi dengan dukungan dari United Nations High Commisioner for Refugees (UNHCR) atau Komisioner Tinggi Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa untuk Pengungsi. Secara resmi tempat pengungsian yang dibangun di pulau Galang ditutup pada tahun 1996. Semua bangunan dan fasilitas yang terdapat dilokasi dikembangkan, digunakan dan dijadikan sebagai tempat wisata yang dikenal dengan Kawasan Wisata Pulau Galang (Ex Camp Vietnam). Kawasan ini memiliki bangunan bekas pengungsian yang dimanfaatkan oleh pengungsi seperti tempat-tempat ibadah, rumah sakit, sekolah dan barak pengungsian. Pada tahun 2000, bangunan bekas sekolah tersebut dijadikan sebagai museum terbuka yang dikenal dengan sebutan Museum Wisata Sejarah Kemanusiaan. Fokus dalam penulisan Karya Tulis Tugas Akhir ini yaitu membahas mengenai analisis pengaruh manajemen properti terhadap aset peninggalan bersejarah di kampung Vietnam Pulau Galang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan oleh penulis adalah metode studi lapangan dan penelitian kepustakaan. Karya Tulis Tugas Akhir ini membahas bagaimana sejarah terbentuk, pengelolaan dan manajemen aset kawasan wisata tersebut./ History records in 1975 the war in Vietnam that required almost all Vietnamese to leave the country and choose to evacuate. The impact of the war was that Vietnamese people chose to evacuate to other countries, one of which was Indonesia. Because of the large number of refugees who came, the Indonesian government built a special place for refugees to accommodate several refugees located on galang island. Refugee shelters are built with complete facilities that can support the lives of refugees with the support of the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) or the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. Officially the refuge built on the island of Galang closed in 1996. All buildings and facilities contained in the location are developed, used and used as tourist attractions known as Galang Island Tourist Area (Ex Camp Vietnam). This area has former refugee buildings that are used by refugees such as places of worship, hospitals, schools and refugee barracks. In 2000, the former school building was used as an open-air museum known as the Museum of The History of Humanity. The focus in writing this Final Project Paper is to discuss the analysis of the influence of property management on historical heritage assets in the Vietnamese village of Galang Island. The research methods used by the authors are field study methods and literature research. This Final Project Paper discusses how history is formed, management and asset management of the tourist area.
