Abstract
Penelitian ini membahas mengenai langkah, kendala, serta tantangan Direktorat Jenderal Pajak dalam mengelola akun media sosialnya yang bertujuan untuk mengindentifikasi korelasi antara pengelolaan media sosial yang dilakukan oleh DJP terhadap literasi perpajakan kelompok Milenial dan Gen Z. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan sejumlah metode terkait. Masih belianya umur pemanfaatan media sosial membuat masih minimnya jumlah penelitian yang dilakukan dalam bidang ini. Hal tersebut kemudian menjadi sebuah kebaruan bagi penulis, karena dalam penelitian sebelumnya tidak membahas antara kaitan pengelolaan media sosial dengan literasi perpajakan, melainkan hanya pengelolaan salah satu akun media sosial DJP saja. Dari penelitian yang dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengelolaan media sosial yang dilakukan oleh Direktorat Jenderal Pajak selama ini belum berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap peningkatan literasi perpajakan bagi kelompok Milenial dan Gen Z yang dibuktikan dengan masih sedikitnya responden yang mengetahui tentang eksistensi media sosial Direktorat Jenderal Pajak dan isu terkini di bidang perpajakan Indonesia./ This study discusses the steps, constraints, and challenges of the Directorate General of Taxes in managing their social media accounts which aims to identify the correlation between social media management carried out by DGT on tax literacy for Millennial and Gen Z groups. The research method used in this study is a qualitative approach with a number of related methods. Since the utilization of social media is a new thing, it makes the number of studies conducted in this field still minimal. This later became a novelty for the author, because the previous research did not discuss the relationship between social media management and tax literacy, but only managing one of the DGT social media accounts. From the research conducted, it can be concluded that the management of social media carried out by the Directorate General of Taxes so far has not had a significant effect on increasing tax literacy for the Millennial and Gen Z groups as evidenced by the lack of respondents who know about the existence of social media of the Directorate General of Taxes and the latest issues in terms of Indonesian taxation.
