Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis empat subindustri dalam sektor consumer cyclicals manakah yang terkena dampak paling signifikan akibat pandemi Covid-19 berdasarkan rasio profitabilitas yang dihasilkan perusahaan dalam tiga tahun terakhir dimulai pada tahun 2019 sampai dengan 2021. Rasio profitabilitas yang dianalisis adalah gross profit margin, operating profit margin, net profit margin, operating return on assets, dan return on equity. Pada penelitian ini, objek yang dianalisis adalah delapan perusahaan dalam empat subindustri yang berbeda. Perusahaan tersebut antara lain PT Bayu Buana Tbk dan PT Panorama Sentrawisata Tbk dari subindustri travel agencies, PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk, PT Graha Layar Prima Tbk, dan PT Bali Bintang Sejahtera Tbk dari subindustri recreational & sport facilities, PT MAP Boga Adiperkasa Tbk dan PT Sarimelati Kencana Tbk dari subindustri restaurant, dan PT Yelooo Integra Datanet Tbk dari subindustri consumer support services. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah merupakan data sekunder berupa laporan keuangan dan tahunan perusahaan yang diperoleh dari situs resmi Bursa Efek Indonesia. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode pengumpulan data kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada tahun 2019 saat Covid-19 mulai perlahan mewabah, restaurant menjadi subindustri dengan rata-rata rasio profitabilitas subindustri pertahun terbaik. Pada tahun 2020 saat puncak dari Covid-19, hampir semua perusahaan mengalami penurunan pendapatan yang cukup signifikan. Akan tetapi masih ada perusahaan yang mampu mempertahankan operasi perusahaannya dengan mencari peluang untuk terus berkembang. PT Bali Bintang Sejahtera Tbk dengan memanfaatkan bidang digital. Pada tahun 2021 PT Bali Bintang Sejahtera Tbk atau BOLA masih mempertahankan posisi sebagai pemilik rata-rata rasio profitabilitas tertinggi. Ditengah perusahan lain yang masih berusaha untuk bangkit dari keterpurukkan akibat Covid-19, BOLA satu langkah lebih maju dibandingan dengan perusahaan lain untuk melanjutkan memaksimalkan kondisi keuangan perusahaannya. / This study aims to analyze which four subindustry in the consumer cyclical sector were most significantly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic based on the profitability ratios generated by the company in the last three years starting in 2019 to 2021. The profitability ratios analyzed are gross profit margin, operating profit margin, net profit margin, operating return on assets, and return on equity. In this study, the objects analyzed are eight companies in four different sub-industry. These companies include PT Bayu Buana Tbk and PT Panorama Sentrawisata Tbk from the travel agencies sub-industry, PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk, PT Graha Layar Prima Tbk, and PT Bali Bintang Sejahtera Tbk from the recreational & sport facilities sub-industry, PT MAP Boga Adiperkasa Tbk and PT Sarimelati Kencana Tbk from the restaurant sub-industry, and PT Yelooo Integra Datanet Tbk from the consumer support services sub-industry. The data used in this study is secondary data in the form of the company's financial and annual reports obtained from the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The analytical method used in this research is the quantitative data collection method. The results show that in 2019 when Covid-19 was just starting to slowly spread, restaurants became the sub-industry with the best average annual sub-industry profitability ratio. In 2020, at the peak of Covid-19, almost all companies experienced a significant decline in revenue. However, there are still companies that can maintain their company's operations by looking for opportunities to continue to grow. PT Bali Bintang Sejahtera Tbk by utilizes the digital field. In 2021 PT Bali Bintang Sejahtera Tbk or BOLA will still maintain its position as the owner of the highest average profitability ratio. Amid other companies that are still trying to rise from adversity due to Covid-19, BOLA is one step ahead compared to other companies to continue maximizing the company's financial condition.
