Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) berpengaruh terhadap kinerja keuangan ROA (Return on Asset) dan ROE (Return on Equity). Subjek dalam penelitian ini kinerja manajemen diukur dengan ROA dan kinerja keuangan diukur dengan ROE sebagai variabel dependent. Sedangkan untuk variabel independent dicerminkan dari CSR perusahaan. Sampel dalam penelitian iniadalah perusahaan basic material yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) Tahun 2019-2020. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah pengumpulan data sekunder dengan jumlah laporan keuangan yang sesuai dengan kriteria sampel sebanyak 148 laporan keuangan. Hasil dari penelitiaan yang telah dilakukan memiliki kesimpulan CSR tidak berpengaruh terhadap ROA pada perusahaan sektor basic material yang terdaftar pada BEI dan variabel CSR secara parsial dan signifikan tidak berpengaruh terhadap ROA. Kemudian CSR berpengaruh akan tetapi tidak dapat dijelaskan keseluruhan terhadap ROE dan variabel CSR secara parsial dan signifikan berpengaruh terhadap ROE. / ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the effect of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on the financial performance of ROA (Return on Assets) and ROE (Return on Equity). The subjects in this study were management performance measured by ROA and financial performance measured by ROE as the dependent variable. Meanwhile, the independent variable is reflected in the company's CSR. The sample in this study is a basic material company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2019-2020. The data collection technique used is secondary data collection with the number of financial statements in accordance with the sample criteria of 148 financial statements. The results of the research that have been carried out have concluded that CSR has no effect on ROA in basic material sector companies listed on the IDX and the CSR variable partially and significantly has no effect on ROA. Then CSR has an effect but cannot be explained as a whole on ROE and the CSR variable partially and significantly affects ROE.
