Abstract

Perubahan struktur ekonomi suatu daerah ditandai dengan adanya pergeseran sektor ekonomi dari sektor primer menjadi sektor sekunder dan tersier. Penelitian ini menganalisis perubahan struktur ekonomi kabupaten/kota di Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah 1) mengetahui struktur perekonomian kabupaten/kota di Provinsi Sumatera Utara pada rentang tahun 2015-2019. 2) mengetahui kaitannya perubahan struktur perekonomian terhadap pendapatan per kapita kabupaten/kota di Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Tulisan ini menggunakan dua pisau analisis yaitu analisis Location Quotient dan Shift Share untuk menganalisis pergeseran struktur ekonomi serta analisis korelasi yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar keterkaitan perubahan struktur ekonomi terhadap pendapatan per kapita di Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Data yang digunakan merupakan data sekunder dengan bentuk time series dari tahun 2015-2019. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) terdapat perubahan struktur ekonomi yang ditandai dengan adanya pergeseran sektor primer menjadi sektor sekunder dan tersier dalam rentang tahun 2015-2019, dan 2) terdapat korelasi positif antara perubahan struktur ekonomi terhadap pendapatan per kapita dengan korelasi Pearson sebesar 0,465 dan koefisien determinasi 21,6%. / Changes in the economic structure of a region are marked by a shift in the economic sector from the primary sector to the secondary and tertiary sectors. This study analyzes changes in the economic structure of districts/cities in North Sumatra Province. The aims of this study are 1) to determine the economic structure of districts/cities in North Sumatra Province in the 2015-2019 range. 2) determine the relationship between changes in the economy's structure to the per capita income of districts/cities in North Sumatra Province. This paper uses two analytical tools, namely Location Quotient and Shift Share analysis, to analyze shifts in the economic structure and correlation analysis, which aims to determine how big the relationship between changes in economic structure and per capita income in North Sumatra Province. Data used is secondary data in the form of time series from 2015-2019. This study shows that 1) there is a change in the economic structure which is marked by a shift in the primary sector to the secondary and tertiary sectors in the 2015-2019 range, and 2) there is a positive correlation between changes in economic structure to income per capita with a Pearson correlation of 0.465 and a coefficient of 0.465. determination 21.6%.
