Abstract
Kedatangan virus corona di Indonesia pada 2 Maret 2020 mengakibatkan lonjakan permintaan tenaga kerja kesehatan, obat-obatan, dan peralatan kesehatan. Hal ini menjadi peluang bagi perusahaan industri farmasi untuk tetap bertahan di tengah krisis ekonomi yang melanda Indonesia akibat Covid-19. PT Phapros Tbk dan PT Indofarma Tbk merupakan beberapa perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang farmasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan kinerja keuangan PT Phapros Tbk dan PT Indofarma Tbk periode 2018 hingga 2020. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode studi kepustakaan dan analisis data kuantitatif. Analisis komparatif ini dilakukan dengan membandingkan rasio likuiditas, rasio struktur modal dan solvabilitas, rasio pengembalian investasi, rasio performa operasi, dan rasio pendayagunaan aset. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PT Phapros Tbk lebih unggul pada delapan dari dua belas rasio keuangan yang digunakan. Sedangkan PT Indofarma Tbk lebih unggul pada emapt rasio keuangan. Sehingga penulis menarik kesimpulan bahwa secara keseluruhan PT Phapros Tbk memiliki kinerja keuangan yang lebih baik daripada PT Indofarma Tbk pada periode 2018 hingga 2020./The arrival of the corona virus in Indonesia on March 2, 2020 resulted in a surge in demand for health workers, medicines, and medical equipment. This is an opportunity for pharmaceutical industry companies to survive in the midst of the economic crisis that hit Indonesia due to Covid-19. PT Phapros Tbk and PT Indofarma Tbk are several companies engaged in the pharmaceutical sector. This study aims to compare the financial performance of PT Phapros Tbk and PT Indofarma Tbk for the period 2018 to 2020. Data collection was carried out using library research methods and quantitative data analysis. This comparative analysis is carried out by comparing the liquidity ratios, capital structure and solvency ratios, return on investment ratios, operating performance ratios, and asset utilization ratios. The results showed that PT Phapros Tbk was superior in eight of the twelve financial ratios used. Meanwhile, PT Indofarma Tbk is superior in four financial ratios. So the authors conclude that overall PT Phapros Tbk has better financial performance than PT Indofarma Tbk in the period 2018 to 2020.
