Abstract

Sumber daya alam merupakan komponen dari ekosistem yang menyediakan barang dan jasa yang bermanfaat bagi kebutuhan manusia. Sumber daya alam dapat didefinisikan sebagai segala sumber daya hayati dan non hayati yang dimanfaatkan oleh manusia sebagai sumber pangan, bahan baku dan energi (Fauzi, 2004). Tujuan penulisan karya tulis ilmiah ini adalah untuk mengetahui karakteristik pengunjung Air Terjun Kedung Kayang dan mengetahui valuasi nilai ekonomi Air Terjun Kedung Kayang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian diskriptif kualitatif yang berusaha untuk melakukan analisis data yang diperoleh dan menjelaskan secara ringkas. Dikarenakan penelitian ini bersifat diskriptif kualitatif, maka analisis yang dilakukan harus berdasarkan pada deskripsi angka-angka. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yakni metode wawancara dan metode kepustakaan. Berdasarkan aspek karakteristik pengunjung, dapat disimpulkan bahwa mayoritas pengunjung objek wisata Air Terjun Kedung Kayang berjenis kelamin laki-laki dengan daerah asal Magelang yang berumur antara 20 sampai 30 tahun dengan status pernikahan sudah menikah, berpendidikan SMA/SMK dengan pendapatan kurang dari sama dengan 1 juta rupiah. Dari aspek valuasi nilai ekonomi, hasil penelitian nilai objek wisata Air Terjun Kedung Kayang dengan meode biaya perjalanan dengan pendekatan metode perjalanan individu didapatlah hasil sebesar Rp3.140.494/tahun./ Natural resources are components of ecosystems that provide goods and services that are beneficial to human needs. Natural resources can be defined as all biological and non-biological resources that are utilized by humans as sources of food, raw materials and energy (Fauzi, 2004). The purpose of writing this scientific paper is to find out the characteristics of visitors to Kedung Kayang Waterfall and find out the valuation of the economic value of Kedung Kayang Waterfall. This research is a qualitative descriptive research that seeks to analyze the data obtained and explain it concisely. Because this research is descriptive qualitative, the analysis carried out must be based on a description of the numbers. The data collection methods used are the interview method and the literature method. Based on the aspects of visitor characteristics, it can be concluded that the majority of visitors to the Kedung Kayang Waterfall tourist attraction are male with an area of origin from Magelang who are between 20 to 30 years old with married marital status, have a high school / vocational education with an income less than equal to 1 million rupiahs. From the aspect of economic value valuation, the results of research on the value of kedung Kayang Waterfall tourist attractions by encoding travel costs with an individual travel method approach obtained results of Rp3,140,494 / year.
