Abstract
Bandara merupakan fasilitas umum yang keberadaannya mampu berdampak besar bagi aktivitas perekonomian. Tidak hanya sebatas pada pemusatan perekonomian, namun juga terjadi pemusatan tempat tinggal di sekitar bandara. Hal tersebut terjadi karena masyarakat yang beraktivitas di sekitar bandara akan lebih memilih untuk bertempat tinggal di sana. Dengan demikian, beberapa pengusaha properti memanfaatkannya dengan membangun hotel, perumahan, serta fasilitas penunjang untuk memenuhi permintaan tempat tinggal. Oleh karena hal tersebut, maka analisis terhadap sektor ekonomi unggulan dan pola penggunaan lahan di Kabupaten Kulon Progo akibat pengoperasian Bandara Yogyakarta International Airport dilakukan untuk mengetahui perubahan yang terjadi sebagai bahan evaluasi pemerintah, dasar analisis penilai, serta pengetahuan bagi masyarakat. Analisis ini dilakukan dengan metode studi kepustakaan berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dari Badan Pusat Statistik, Pemerintah Kabupaten Kulon Progo, dan Google Earth Engine yang kemudian diolah menggunakan analisis Location Quotient, Shift Share, Overlay, dan Pola Penggunaan Lahan. Berdasarkan analisis yang telah dilakukan, terbukti bahwa terjadi sedikit perubahan atas sektor ekonomi unggulan dan pola penggunaan lahan. Pada sektor ekonomi unggulan setelah pengoperasian bandara, sektor real estate; administrasi pemerintahan, pertahanan dan jaminan sosial wajib; jasa pendidikan; serta jasa kesehatan dan kegiatan sosial mengalami perubahan yang positif yaitu dari sektor nonbasis menjadi sektor basis dan/atau dari nonprogresif menjadi progresif. Selanjutnya pada pola penggunaan lahan juga mulai terlihat kesesuaian dengan teori multiple nuclei model yang menunjukkan terdapat pusat pertumbuhan baru di sekitar bandara. / Airports are public facilities whose existence can have a major impact on economic activity. It is not only limited to the concentration of the economy, but also the concentration of residences around the airport. This happens because people who are active around the airport will prefer to live there. Thus, some property entrepreneurs take advantage of it by build hotels, housing, and supporting facilities to meet the demand for housing. Because of this, an analysis of the economic base sector and land use patterns in Kulon Progo Regency due to the operation of Yogyakarta International Airport was carried out to find out the changes that occurred as material for government evaluation, the basis for valuer analysis, and knowledge for the community. This analysis was carried out using a literature study method based on data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency, Kulon Progo Regency Government, and Google Earth Engine which were then processed using Location Quotient, Shift Share, Overlay, and Land Use Patterns analysis. Based on the analysis that has been carried out, it is evident that there has been a slight change in the economic base sectors and land use patterns. In the economic base sector after the operation of the airport, the real estate; mandatory government administration, defense and social security; education services; as well as health services and social activities sector underwent positive changes, there are from non-basic sector to basic sector and/or from non-progressive to progressive sector. Furthermore, the pattern of land use is also starting to show conformity with the multiple nuclei model theory which shows that there are new growth centers around the airport.
