Abstract
Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan oleh penulis menjabarkan tentang bagaimana perkembangan ekonomi wilayah di Kota Semarang. Tujuan dari penulisan ini mengetahui apa saja yang menjadi sektor unggulan dan non unggul di Kota Semarang. Selain mengetahui sektor unggulan dan non unggulan Kota Semarang, penulisan KTTA ini dapat dijadikan bahan edukasi untuk khalayak umum. Data yang digunakan adalah PDRB Kota Semarang tahun 2016-2020. Analisis yang digunakan merupakan analisis shift share dan analisis location quotient. Hasil analisis location quotient menunjukkan bahwa perkembangan ekonomi wilayah di Kota Semarang ditopang oleh sektor konstruksi dengan kontribusi per tahun 2020 untuk PDRB Kota Semarang adalah sebanyak 25% dengan nilai hasil perhitungan LQ adalah 2,41. Selain mengetahui sektor penopang Kota Semarang, analisis location quotient juga dapat mengetahui sektor unggulan dan sektor non unggulan. Berdasarkan hasil dari perhitungan analisis location quotient terdapat 10 sektor unggulan dan tujuh sektor non unggulan. Hasil perhitungan shift netto, sektor unggulan Kota Semarang antara lain sektor pertanian, kehutanan, dan perikanan; sektor pertambangan dan penggalian; sektor pengadaan air, pengelolaan sampah, limbah, dan daur ulang; sektor transportasi dan pergudangan; sektor penyediaan akomodasi makan dan minum; sektor informasi dan komunikasi; sektor jasa pendidikan; sektor jasa kesehatan dan kegiatan sosial; dan jasa lainnya. / The results of the research conducted by the author describe how the regional economic development in the city of Semarang. The purpose of this paper is to find out what are the basic and non-basic sectors in the city of Semarang. In addition to knowing the basic and non-basic sectors of the City of Semarang, the writing of this KTTA can be used as educational material for the general public. The data used is the GDRP of Semarang City in 2016-2020. The analysis used is shift share analysis and location quotient analysis. The results of the location quotient analysis show that regional economic development in the city of Semarang is supported by the construction sector with a contribution per year 2020 for the GDRP of the city of Semarang as much as 25% with the value of the LQ calculation result is 2.41. In addition to knowing the supporting sectors of the City of Semarang, location quotient analysis can also identify the leading and non-performing sectors. Based on the results of the location quotient analysis calculation, there are 10 basic sectors and seven non-basic sectors. The result of net shift calculation shows that the basic sectors of Semarang City are agriculture, forestry, and fishery sectors; mining and quarrying sector; water supply, waste management, waste and recycling sectors; transportation and warehousing sector; the sector of providing food and drink accommodation; information and communication sector; education services sector; health services sector and social activities; and other services.
