Abstract

" Stock split atau pemecahan nominal saham merupakan salah satu aksi korporasi yang bisa dilakukan oleh perusahaan untuk menyusun kembali harga saham agar lebih likuid dan memberikan sinyal positif kepada investor. Pada umumnya, stock split dilakukan dengan memecah nominal saham perusahaan agar saham yang beredar di masyarakat menjadi lebih banyak dengan nominal yang lebih kecil. Dengan demikian, saham perusahaan akan lebih murah untuk dibeli yang pada akhirnya akan meningkatkan harga saham di bursa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membandingkan nilai ekuitas PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk. sebelum dan sesudah aksi stock split yang dinilai dengan penilaian bisnis. Nilai ekuitas dinilai dengan pendekatan pendapatan dan pendekatan pasar. Penilaian dengan pendekatan pendapatan dilakukan dengan metode Discounted Cash Flow sedangkan pada pendekatan pasar menggunakan metode Guideline Publicly Traded Company. Data-data yang digunakan berasal dari data sekunder atau hasil publikasi lembaga atau pihak yang memiliki kredibilitas. Hasil penilaian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan nilai ekuitas PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk. sebesar 35,58% serta kinerja saham yang meningkat 20 kali setelah aksi stock split. / A stock split is one of the corporate actions that can be taken by companies to rearrange stock prices to make them more liquid and provide a positive signal to investors. In general, a stock split is done by splitting the nominal share of the company's shares so that there are more shares outstanding in the community with a smaller nominal value. Thus, the company's shares will be cheaper to buy which in turn will increase the share price on the stock exchange. The purpose of this study was to compare the equity value of PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk. before and after the stock split action which is assessed by business valuation. The value of equity is assessed using the income approach and the market approach. The valuation with the income approach is carried out using the Discounted Cash Flow Method while the market approach uses the Guideline Publicly Traded Company Method. The data used come from secondary data or the publication of institutions or parties who have credibility. The results of the assessment indicate an increase in the equity value of PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk. by 35.58% and stock performance which increased 20 times after the stock split.
