Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perkembangan sektor pertanian di Kabupaten Dairi serta mengetahui faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi alih fungsi lahan pertanian di Kabupaten Dairi. Periode penelitian tahun 2012 sampai dengan tahun 2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder yang selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan analisis shift share dan analisis daya dukung lahan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis shift share, sektor pertanian Kabupaten Dairi berada pada Kuadran III (Terbelakang/Depressed) yang menandakan bahwa sektor pertanian cenderung lebih lambat daripada pertumbuhan Provinsi Sumatera Utara yang menandakan adanya pergeseran sektor pertanian menjadi sektor lainnya. Kemudian, berdasarkan hasil analisis daya dukung lahan menandakan bahwa alih fungsi lahan pertanian Kabupaten Dairi cukup signifikan yang berdampak pada luas lahan pertanian yang akan semakin sempit dan juga daya dukung lahan akan menurun. Kabupaten Dairi mengalami transformasi struktural perekonomian dari sektor pertanian ke sektor konstruksi dan sektor perdagangan besar dan eceran yang merupakan dampak dari kegiatan alih fungsi lahan pertanian. Hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan untuk mengetahui perkembangan sektor pertanian di Kabupaten Dairi dan sebagai bahan pertimbangan untuk pengoptimalan pengelolaan sektor pertanian Kabupaten Dairi. / This study aims to determine the development of the agricultural sector in Dairi Regency and determine the factors that influence the conversion of agricultural land in Dairi Regency. The research period is from 2012 to 2021. This study uses secondary data which is then analyzed using shift share analysis and land carrying capacity analysis. Based on the results of the shift share analysis, the agricultural sector of Dairi Regency is in Quadrant III (Latest/Depressed) which indicates that the agricultural sector tends to be slower than the growth of North Sumatra Province which indicates a shift from the agricultural sector to other sectors. Then, based on the results of the analysis of the carrying capacity of the land, it indicates that the conversion of agricultural land in Dairi Regency is quite significant which has an impact on the area of agricultural land which will be narrower and also the carrying capacity of the land will decrease. Dairi Regency underwent a structural transformation of the economy from the agricultural sector to the construction sector and wholesale and retail trade sector which was the impact of the activity of conversion of agricultural land. The results of this study can be used to determine the development of the agricultural sector in Dairi Regency and as consideration for optimizing the management of the agricultural sector in Dairi Regency.
