Abstract
"Abstrak Perekonomian suatu wilayah didorong oleh sektor-sektor ekonomi yang ada di wilayah tersebut. Sektor-sektor ekonomi tersebut diklasifikasikan menjadi sektor unggulan dan sektor nonunggulan. Sektor unggulan merupakan sektor yang menjadi penggerak utama perekonomian wilayah karena memiliki efek penggganda. Penentuan sektor ekonomi unggulan dan sektor nonunggulan menggunakan data yang dipublikasi oleh Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Kota Palembang dan Provinsi Sumatera Selatan, yaitu Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB) Kota Palembang dan Provinsi Sumatera Selatan tahun 2015 – 2021. Pandemi COVID-19 membawa dampak bagi perekonomian, baik secara nasional maupun global. Kota Palembang pada masa pandemi COVID-19 menghadapi pertumbuhan ekonomi yang negatif. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan penurunan PDRB Kota Palembang. Pandemi COVID-19 menyebabkan adanya perubahan sektor-sektor unggulan di Kota Palembang. Penentuan perubahan sektor unggulan Kota Palembang menggunakan tiga analisis, yaitu analisis Location Quotient (LQ), analisis Model Rasio Pertumbuhan (MRP), dan analisis overlay. Tujuh sektor yang mengalami perubahan karena adanya pandemi COVID-19 adalah sektor industri pengolahan; sektor pengadaan listrik dan gas; sektor pengadaan air, pengelolaan sampah, limbah dan daur ulang; sektor perdagangan besar dan eceran, reparasi mobil dan sepeda motor; sektor real estat; sektor jasa perusahaan; dan sektor jasa pendidikan. / The economic of a region is driven by the economic sectors in the region. The economic sectors are classified into leading sector and nonleading sector. Leading sector is a main driving sector of the region economy because it has a multiplier effect. The determination of leading sector and nonleading sector uses data published by Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) of Palembang City and South Sumatera Province, which are Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of Palembang City and South Sumatera Province in 2015 – 2021. The COVID-19 pandemic has an impact on economy, both nationally and globally. This is proven by the decrease in the GDP of Palembang City. The COVID-19 pandemic causes the changes in the leading sectors in Palembang City. The determination of the changes in the leading sectors of Palembang City uses three analyses, which are the Location Quotient (LQ) Analysis, the Growth Ratio Model Analysis, and the Overlay Analysis. Seven sectors that have changed due to COVID-19 pandemic are processing industry sector; electricity and gas procuring, waste processing, waste and recycling sector; wholesale and retail trading, cars and motorcycles repairing sector; real estate sector; corporate service sector; and education service sector.
