Abstract
Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui serta melakukan analisis atas sektor unggulan Kabupaten Banyuwangi terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja. Metode penelitian yang digunakan menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan, dimana pengumpulan data dalam penelitian diperoleh dari bacaan, data pustaka, jurnal, ataupun penelitian terdahulu yang kemudian dicatat serta diolah menjadi suatu rangkaian analisis. Selain itu sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian berupa data sekunder. Data-data yang telah diperoleh kemudian dirangkai sehingga menjadi analisis dengan menggunakan metode-metode tertentu. Adapun metode yang dimaksud berupa metode Location Quotient, metode Shift-share, dan Analisis Regresi. Adapun hasil yang diperoleh dari analisis Location Quotient yaitu sektor basis yang menjadi sektor unggulan di Kabupaten Banyuwangi dengan nilai LQ>1 berupa sektor pertanian, kehutanan, dan perikanan, sektor pertambangan dan penggalian, sektor konstruksi, sektor jasa pendidikan, hingga sektor transportasi dan pergudangan. Pada analisis Shift-Share diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa sektor pertanian merupakan sektor yang memiliki pertumbuhan pesat namun kurang memiliki potensi kompetisi berbeda dengan sektor konstruksi. Pada analisis Regresi diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa sektor konstruksi merupakan sektor yang berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja dengan p-value < 0,05. Selain itu koefisien yang dimiliki berkorelasi secara positif sehingga semakin banyak barang maupun jasa yang diproduksi maka akan berpengaruh terhadap banyaknya penyerapan tenaga kerja pada sektor tersebut. / The study aims to identify and analyze the overpraised sector of Banyuwangi for the absorption of labor force. Research methods used for the study is method of literature, in which research retrieval is obtained from reading, library data, journals, or previous research that was then recorded and processed into a series of analysis. In addition to the data sources used in research of secondary data. Data that has been acquired is then strung together and thus becomes an analysis using specific methods. As for the methods involved the location quotient method, the shift-share method, and the regression analysis. According to location location quotient analysis, the result derived from the Location Quotient analysis are the base sector in Banyuwangi which have LQ > 1. The sectors are forestry, and fisheries, mining and mining sectors, construction, education services, to the transportation and processing sector. The objective of the shift-share analysis is xiii that the agricultural sector is a sector that has a rapid growth but lack the potential for competition differs from the construction sector. The regression analysis suggests that the construction sector is a significantly significant sector for the absorption of labor by p-value 0.05. In addition, coefficients that have a positive correlation have become more and more useful.
