Abstract
Karya tulis ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sektor ekonomi yang paling dominan dalam kontribusinya terhadap kemajuan perekonomian pada Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY), terkait dengan masa transisi dari kondisi awal pandemi Covid-19 ke era kenormalan baru pasca pandemi Covid-19. Sektor ekonomi yang paling dominan tersebut dapat menjadi sebagai akselerator bagi pembangunan perekonomian Provinsi DIY di era kenormalan baru. Sektor ekonomi dominan di dalam kajian ini didasarkan pada sektor basis dan progresif. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah metode studi literatur, yaitu dengan metode membaca, mempelajari, dan mengkaji berbagai literatur berupa buku, jurnal, artikel, dan berbagai penelitian ilmiah terkait dengan tema tulisan. Dalam mengolah dan menganalisis data digunakan beberapa metode, yang terbagi menjadi metode utama dan pendukung. Metode utama yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data adalah analisis Location Quotient (LQ) dan Shift-Share. Kemudian metode pendukungnya adalah dengan menggunakan analisis Tipologi Klassen dan Model Rasio Pertumbuhan (MRP). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara agregat, sektor yang memiliki potensi terbesar untuk meningkatkan lagi ekonomi Provinsi DIY dimasa mendatang, dengan dasar analisis pada masa kenormalan baru pasca pandemi Covid-19 (mulai tahun 2021) antara lain adalah sektor Konstruksi; Penyediaan Akomodasi dan Makan Minum; Informasi dan Komunikasi; Jasa Pendidikan; serta sektor Jasa lainnya. / This study aims to determine the most dominant economic sector in its contribution to economic progress in Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY) Province, related to the transition period from the initial conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic to the new normal era after the Covid-19 pandemic. The most dominant economic sector can serve as an accelerator for the economic development of the DIY Province in the new normal era. The dominant economic sectors in this study are based on the basic and progressive sectors. The method used to collect data is the literature study method, namely by reading, studying, and reviewing various literature in the form of books, journals, articles, and various scientific studies related to the theme of writing. In processing and analyzing data, several methods are used, which are divided into main and supporting methods. The main methods used to analyze the data are Location Quotient (LQ) and Shift-Share analysis. Then the supporting method uses the Klassen Typology and the Growth Ratio Model (MRP) analysis. The results of the study show that in aggregate, the sectors that have the greatest potential to improve the economy of the DIY Province in the future, based on an analysis in the new normal period after the Covid-19 pandemic (starting in 2021), include the Construction sector; Provision of Accommodation and Food and Drink; Information and Communication; Education Services; and other Service sectors.
