Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui sektor ekonomi apa yang menjadi sektor unggulan sebagai penentu utama pertumbuhan dan mengetahui proyeksi kedepan dari sektor unggulan Kabupaten Lumajang dengan metode locatient quotient dan analisis shift share. Datadata yang dikumpulkan akan dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Data yang digunakan dalam menentukan sektor unggulan adalah data PDRB sektor ekonomi menurut lapangan usaha di Kabupaten Lumajang dan Provinsi Jawa Timur selama 5 tahun terakhir yaitu 2016-2020. Data yang digunaka selanjutnya yaitu data tingkat ekonomi dan kesejahteraan di Kabupaten Lumajang. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa perekonomian Kabupaten Lumajang tahun 2016-2020 mempunyai lima sektor unggulan yaitu sektor sektor pertanian, kehutanan dan perikanan; sektor industri pengolahan; sektor perdagangan besar dan eceran; sektor reparasi mobil; dan sektor konstruksi Kelima sektor tersebut merupakan sektor basis dengan kecenderungan untuk terus tumbuh karena dinilai potensial dan propektif dan diproyeksikan masih akan menjadi sektor penopang ekonomi Kabupaten Lumajang kedepannya. Bisa dilihat dari grafik penduduk miskin Kabupaten Lumajang yang semakin menurun, lima Sektor tersebut dinilai mampu dalam mengatasi kemiskinan di Kabupaten Lumajang. Kabupaten Lumajang memiliki potensi yang sangat besar pada sektor pertambangannya namun masih belum bisa mengoptimalkannya. / This research was conducted to find out what economic sector is the leading sector as the main determinant of growth and to know the future projections of the leading sector in Lumajang Regency using the locatient quotient method and shift share analysis. The data collected will be analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The data used in determining the leading sector is the GRDP data of the economic sector according to business fields in Lumajang Regency and East Java Province for the last 5 years, 2016-2020. The data used next is data on the level of economy and welfare in Lumajang Regency. The results of the analysis show that the economy of Lumajang Regency in 2016-2020 has five leading sectors, namely the agricultural, forestry and fishery sectors; processing industry sector; wholesale and retail trade sector; car repair sector; and construction sector The five sectors are basic sectors with a tendency to continue to grow because they are considered potential and prospective and are projected to still be the economic support sector for Lumajang Regency in the future. It can be seen from the graph of the poor population in Lumajang Regency which is decreasing, these five sectors are considered capable of overcoming poverty in Lumajang Regency. Lumajang Regency has enormous potential in its mining sector but has not yet been able to optimize it.
