Abstract

Salah satu laporan yang sifatnya melengkapi pelaporan dari siklus akuntansi berbasis akrual adalah Laporan Operasional (LO). LO merupakan laporan yang menyajikan ikhtisar sumber daya ekonomi yang menambah ekuitas dan penggunaannya, yang dikelola oleh pemerintah pusat atau daerah untuk kegiatan penyelenggaraan pemerintahan dalam satu periode pelaporan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana praktik penyusunan, penyajian, dan pengungkapan LO pada Pemerintah Kota Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana keterkaitan LO dengan Laporan Akuntansi lainnya seperti LPE dan Neraca, serta meninjau kesesuaian penyajian dan pengungkapan LO pada Pemerintah Kota Yogyakarta dengan Standar Akuntansi Pemerintahan/Kebijakan Akuntansi Pemerintah Daerah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kepustakaan dengan tujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi detail yang relevan dengan masalah yang diteliti, khususnya yang terkait dengan landasan teori dan latar belakang permasalahan. / One of the reports that completes the reporting of the accrual-based accounting cycle is the Operating Income. Operating Income is a report that presents an overview of economic resources that increase equity and their use, which is managed by the central or regional government for government administration activities in one reporting period. This study aims to find out how the practice of preparing, presenting, and disclosing Operating Income at the Yogyakarta City Government. This study also aims to know how the Operating Income is related to other Accounting Reports, such as Statement of Owner’s Equity report and Balance Sheet, and to review the suitability of the presentation and disclosure of Operating Income at the Yogyakarta City Government with Government Accounting Standards/Regional Government Accounting Policies. The research method used in this study is a literature study with the aim of obtaining detailed information relevant to the problem under study, especially those related to the theoretical basis and background of the problem.
