Abstract
Pelaksanaan otonomi daerah mengharuskan pemerintah daerah memahami potensi daerah untuk mencapai target pembangunan daerah. Pembangunan daerah biasa diukur dengan tingkat pertumbuhan ekonomi daerah. Sehingga perlu dilakukan suatu penelitian untuk mengetahui sektor basis perekonomian dan menyokong pertumbuhan ekonomi daerah. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui sektor basis perekonomian pada Kabupaten Karanganyar periode 2016-2020. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan membantu pemerintah daerah untuk mengetahui sektor basis perekonomian, sehingga arah kebijakan pemerintah lebih tepat. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode analisis Location Quotient (LQ) dan analisis deskriptif untuk dihubungkan dengan keluhan masyarakat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sektor basis perekonomian Kabupaten Karanganyar Tahun 2016-2020 adalah sektor Industri Pengolahan, Sektor Pengadaan Listrik dan Gas, Sektor Pengadaan Air, Pengelolaan Sampah, Limbah, dan Daur Ulang; Sektor Penyediaan Akomodasi dan Makan Minum; serta Sektor Jasa Keuangan dan Asuransi. Terkait keluhan masyarakat mengenai konstruksi dan pendidikan terbukti, ditunjukkan dengan Sektor Jasa Pendidikan dan Sektor Konstruksi tidak termasuk dalam kelompok sektor basis. Sehingga Pemerintah Kabupaten Karanganyar perlu memperhatikan sektor tersebut untuk mengatasi keluhan masyarakat./ The implementation of regional autonomy requires local governments to understand the regional potential to achieve regional development targets. Regional development is usually measured by the level of regional economic growth. So it is necessary to conduct a study to determine the economic base sector and support regional economic growth. This study was conducted to determine the economic base sector in Karanganyar Regency for the 2016-2020 period. This research was conducted with the aim of helping local governments to identify the basic sector of the economy, so that the direction of government policy is more appropriate. This research was conducted by using Location Quotient (LQ) analysis method and descriptive analysis to be associated with public complaints. The results of the study show that the economic base sectors of Karanganyar Regency in 2016-2020 are the Processing Industry sector, the Electricity and Gas Procurement Sector, the Water Supply Sector, Waste, Waste, and Recycling Management; Accommodation and Food and Drink Provision Sector; and the Financial Services and Insurance Sector. Regarding public complaints regarding construction and education, it is proven that the Education Services Sector and the Construction Sector are not included in the base sector group. So that the Karanganyar Regency Government needs to pay attention to this sector to address public complaints.
