Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh pemenuhan akan kebutuhan fisiologis, keamanan, sosial, penghargaan, dan aktualisasi diri terhadap motivasi kinerja Pemeriksa Pajak di lingkungan Kantor Wilayah Direktorat Jenderal Pajak Jakarta Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi kuantitatif dengan mengumpulkan data primer melalui survei. Terdapat 74 responden Pemeriksa Pajak yang berasal dari Kantor Pelayanan Pajak yang berbeda-beda. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis Structural Equation Model (SEM) dengan menggunakan aplikasi SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemenuhan akan kebutuhan fisiologis, keamanan, penghargaan, dan aktualisasi diri berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi kinerja. Namun demikian, pemenuhan akan kebutuhan sosial tidak berpengaruh terhadap motivasi kinerja. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi sebagai bahan pertimbangan oleh Direktorat Jenderal Pajak untuk meningkatkan motivasi kinerja pemeriksa pajak yang kemudian akan berdampak langsung terhadap performanya. This research aims to determine the influence of the fulfillment of physiological, safety, social, self-esteem, and self-actualization needs on the motivation of Tax Auditors in the West Jakarta Regional Office of the Directorate General of Taxes. This study employs quantitative methodology by collecting primary data through surveys. There were 74 Tax Auditor respondents from different Tax Service Offices. The data analysis method used in this research is Structural Equation Model (SEM) analysis using the SmartPLS application. The results of this study indicate that the fulfillment of physiological, safety, self-esteem, and self-actualization needs has a positive influence on motivation. However, the fulfillment of social needs does not affect motivation. This research is expected to be contributed as consideration material by the Directorate General of Taxes to improve the motivation of tax auditors, which will then directly impact their performance.
