Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini menerapkan Individual Travel Cost Method untuk menilai valuasi ekonomi Museum Benteng Vredeburg pascarevitalisasi tahun 2024 serta mengestimasi Willingness to Pay (WTP) pengunjung terhadap peningkatan fasilitas di museum tersebut. Valuasi ekonomi museum penting untuk mengetahui manfaat ekonomi yang dihasilkan bagi masyarakat, sedangkan estimasi WTP digunakan sebagai pertimbangan dalam penentuan harga tiket yang optimal. Dengan memahami nilai ekonomi museum dan kesediaan membayar pengunjung, pengelola dapat menyusun strategi pengelolaan yang lebih berkelanjutan serta meningkatkan kualitas layanan dan pelestarian cagar budaya. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 213 orang yang dipilih dengan nonprobability sampling menggunakan teknik purposive sampling serta dikumpulkan melalui survei kepada pengunjung selama bulan Desember 2024 menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai dari Museum Benteng Vredeburg pascarevitalisasi tahun 2024 adalah sebesar Rp4.180.170.511.619 dengan surplus konsumen sebesar Rp6.484.725. Besaran WTP rata-rata adalah sebesar Rp25.563. Dengan demikian, WTP yang dihasilkan lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan harga tiket masuk saat ini, yaitu Rp15.000 s.d. Rp25.000. Kata Kunci : Penilaian Aset Bersejarah, Individual Travel Cost Method, Surplus Konsumen, Willingness to Pay ABSTRACT This study applies the Individual Travel Cost Method to assess the economic valuation of Museum Benteng Vredeburg after revitalization in 2024 and to estimate visitors' Willingness to Pay (WTP) for improved museum facilities. The economic valuation of the museum is crucial to understanding the economic benefits it provides to society, while the WTP estimation serves as a consideration for determining optimal ticket prices. By understanding the museum's economic value and visitors' willingness to pay, management can develop more sustainable strategies, enhance service quality, and preserve cultural heritage. The study sample consists of 213 respondents selected through nonprobability sampling using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through visitor surveys conducted in December 2024. The results indicate that the post-revitalization economic value of Museum Benteng Vredeburg in 2024, calculated using the Individual Travel Cost Method, is Rp4.180.170.511.619, with a consumer surplus of Rp6.484.725. The average WTP is Rp25.563, which is higher than the current entrance fee of Rp15.000 to Rp25.000.
