Abstract
Tujuan dari penilitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dampak dari modernisasi mesin terhadap produksi dari PT Perkebunan Nusantara VIII Kebun Purbasari. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder dari PTPN VIII Purbasari dengan rincian data modal, tenaga kerja, bahan baku, produksi, dan spesifikasi mesin. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linier berganda dengan fungsi produksi Cobb-Douglas dan analisis statistika deskriptif produktivitas tenaga kerja dengan mesin petik. Analisis hasil dari Cobb -Douglas menunjukkan bahwa model estimasi fungsi produksi yaitu LnY = 1,05 + (-)0,15LnX1 + 1,07LnX2 + 0,03LnX3. Hasil analisis regresi menunjukkan bahwa faktor produksi sendiri yang mempengaruhi hasil secara positif dan signifikan terhadap produksi teh adalah bahan baku. Pengujian secara keseluruhan menggunakan F dimana F-statistik sebesar 0,000567 < ɑ = 5% , yang berarti variabel modal, bahan baku, dan tenaga kerja secara bersama-sama dapat berpengaruh terhadap hasil produksi teh. Analisis statistika deskriptif membandingkan produktivitas tenaga kerja mesin petik dan gunting petik. Hasil dari analisis statistika deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata produktivitas tenaga kerja dengan mesin petik mempunyai nilai yang lebih besar daripada produktivitas tenaga kerja dengan gunting petik./The purpose of this research is to analyze the impact of machine modernization on the production of PT Perkebunan Nusantara VIII Kebun Purbasari. The data used is secondary data from PTPN VIII Purbasari with details of data on capital, labor, raw materials, production, and machine specifications. The analysis used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis with Cobb-Douglas production function and descriptive statistical analysis of labor productivity with a plucking machine. The results from the Cobb -Douglas analysis show that the production function estimation model is LnY = 1.05 + (-)0.15LnX1 + 1.07LnX2 + 0.03LnX3. The results of the regression analysis showed that the production factor itself which positively and significantly affected the yield of tea production was the raw material. The overall test uses F where the F-statistic is 0.000567 < = 5% , which means that the variables of capital, raw materials, and labor together can affect tea production. Descriptive statistical analysis compares the labor productivity of plucking machines and plucking scissors. The results of the descriptive statistical analysis show that the average labor productivity with a plucking machine has a greater value than the labor productivity with a plucking shears.
