Abstract

ABSTRAK Guncangan ekonomi akibat pandemi Covid-19 menyebabkan aktivitas ekonomi menjadi menurun. Penurunan ini akan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja dan kondisi keuangan perusahaan. PT Barito Pacific Tbk mendapat imbas dari pandemi Covid 19 sehingga untuk membuktikannya diperlukan penelitian. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kinerja keuangan, trend, dan hubungan rasio profitabilitas dengan kinerja PT Barito Pacific Tbk. Rasio Profitabilitas suatu perusahaan dapat menunjukkan apakah kinerja mengalami penurunan atau peningkatan. Penelitian ini termasuk ke dalam jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik analisis data dan studi kepustakaan. Analisis data yang dilakukan oleh penulis adalah dengan membandingkan rasio profitabilitas PT Barito Pacific Tbk sebelum dan semasa pandemi yaitu pada tahun 2019 (audited) dan 2020 (audited). Rasio profitabilitas yang diuji adalah rasio yang terkait dengan kinerja operasi dan investasi. Hasil penelitian akan menunjukkan bahwa pandemi memiliki pengaruh terhadap kinerja perusahaan. Terbukti dengan adanya peningkatan rasio profitabilitas terkait kinerja operasi perusahaan dan adanya penurunan angka atau rasio dan berada di bawah standar rata-rata rasio industri menurut teori dari kinerja investasi. Kata kunci: rasio profitabilitas, kinerja operasi, kinerja investasi, PT Barito Pacific Tbk. Abstract The economic shock due to the Covid-19 pandemic has caused the economic activity decrease. This decrease will affect to the performance and financial condition of the company. PT Barito Pacific Tbk has been impacted by the Covid 19 pandemic, so the research is needed to prove it.. PT Barito Pacific Tbk has been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, so the research is needed to prove it. The purpose of this study was to determine the financial performance, trends, and the relationship between profitability ratios and the performance of PT Barito Pacific Tbk. Profitability ratio of a company can show whether the performance has decreased or increased. This research belongs to the type of qualitative research with data analysis techniques and literature study. The data analysis carried out by the author is to compare the profitability ratios of PT Barito Pacific Tbk before and during the pandemic, in 2019 (audited) and 2020 (audited). The profitability ratios tested are the ratios related to operating and investment performance. The results of the study will show that the pandemic has an influence on company performance. It is proven by an increase in profitability ratios related to the company's operating performance and a decrease in numbers or ratios and is below the industry average ratio standard according to the theory of investment performance.
