Abstract

ABSTRAK Kinerja keuangan merupakan indikator atas kemampuan suatu perusahaan dalam mengelola keuangannya. Kinerja keuangan yang buruk dapat mengarah pada kebangkrutan suatu perusahaan. Prediksi potensi kebangkrutan diperlukan sebagai peringatan untuk mengantisipasi kebangkrutan suatu perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kinerja keuangan dan memprediksi potensi kebangkrutan pada PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan analisis rasio keuangan dan model prediksi kebangkrutan. Analisis rasio keuangan yang digunakan antara lain likuiditas, solvabilitas, manajemen efisiensi aset, dan profitabilitas. Model prediksi kebangkrutan yang digunakan adalah metode Altman Z-Score. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder berupa laporan keuangan PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk selama periode tahun 2017-2021. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kinerja keuangan perusahaan yang buruk dan prediksi potensi kebangkrutan perusahaan dikategorikan ke dalam distress zone selama periode analisis. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk mengalami financial distress dan berpotensi mengalami kebangkrutan. Poor financial performance can lead to the bankruptcy of a company. Prediction of potential bankruptcy is needed as a warning to anticipate the bankruptcy of a company. This study aims to determine the financial performance and predict potential bankruptcy of PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk. The method used is a quantitative analysis using financial ratio analysis and bankruptcy prediction models. The financial ratio analysis used includes liquidity, solvency, asset management efficiency, and profitability. The bankruptcy prediction model used is the Altman Z-Score method. The data used in this study is secondary data in the form of financial statements of PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk for the period 2017 2021. The results of the study show that the company’s financial performance is poor and the prediction of the company's potential bankruptcy is categorized into the distress zone during the analysis period. The conclusion of this study is that PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk is in financial distress and has the potential for bankruptcy.
