Abstract

Abstrak SMK Negeri 1 Blora merupakan sekolah menengah kejuruan yang terletak di Kabupaten Blora, Jawa Tengah. Dalam pengelolaannya SMK Negeri 1 Blora menggunakan sistem informasi, namun pemanfaatannya belum digunakan maksimal untuk mencapai keunggulan kompetitif. Maka dari itu, perlu perencanaan strategis sistem informasi untuk dapat unggul dari kompetitor lainnya. Tujuan penulisan karya tulis ini adalah menganalisis sistem informasi yang digunakan oleh SMK Negeri 1 Blora. Metode yang digunakan dalam karya tulis ini adalah metode Ward & Peppard dengan tahapan analisis lingkungan internal dan eksternal organisasi dengan menggunakan analisis Value Chain dan SWOT. Hasil analisis berupa portofolio rekomendasi pengembangan sistem informasi yang dapat digunakan oleh sekolah. Diharapkan dengan analisa dari beberapa tools akan menghasikan perumusan yang baik dalam mengembangkan sistem dan teknologi informasi serta manajemen sekolah. / Abstract SMK Negeri 1 Blora is a vocational high school located in Blora regency, Central Java. In its management SMK Negeri 1 Blora uses information systems, but its utilization has not been used optimally to achieve competitive advantage. Therefore, it needs strategic planning of information systems to be able to excel from other competitors. The purpose of writing this paper is to analyze the information system used by SMK Negeri 1 Blora. The method used in this paper is the Ward & Peppard method with the stages of analysis of the internal and external environment of the organization using Value Chain and SWOT analysis. The results of the analysis in the form of a portfolio of recommendations for the development of information systems that can be used by schools.It is expected that the analysis of several tools will produce a good formulation in developing information systems and technology as well as school management.
