Abstract

Abstrak Ayam ras pedaging merupakan sektor yang memiliki tingkat konsumsi tertinggi di Indonesia namun, sektor ini didominasi oleh usaha peternakan rakyat yang berskala kecil. Usaha skala kecil yang dijalankan oleh rakyat umumnya tidak menjalankan proses akuntansi yang memadai, padahal hal ini merupakan salah satu kunci dalam menjaga keberlangsungan suatu usaha dan pengembangan usaha. Salah satu komponen dalam akuntansi biaya adalah harga pokok produksi. Penentuan metode harga pokok produksi yang relevan dan tepat diperlukan agar laba rugi yang dihasilkan benar menunjukkan kondisi sesungguhnya dari suatu usaha. Penelitian ini dilakukan kepada usaha ternak ayam ras pedaging milik Pak Yusperi yang terletak di kabupaten Hulu Sungai Selatan selaku kawasan pengembangan peternakan unggas pada wilayah Kalimantan Selatan. Data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah data pengeluaran pada peternakan tersebut selama tahun 2021. Dalam hal ini, penulis melakukan perhitungan harga pokok produksi dengan metode full costing dan direct costing karena dirasa merupakan metode yang relevan. Harga pokok produksi yang dihasilkan dari metode full costing maupun direct costing tersebut memiliki nilai yang lebih besar dari perhitungan pihak peternakan. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas manajemen peternakan. / Abstract Broiler farming is a sector that has the highest consumption level in Indonesia but it is dominated by small-scale citizen's animal husbandry businesses. Smallscale businesses run by the citizen generally do not applied accounting in its process adequately, even though accounting is one of the keys to maintaining the sustainability of a business and developing a business. One of the components in cost accounting is the cost of goods manufactured. Determination of the relevant and appropriate cost of production method is needed so that the resulting profit and loss properly shows the actual condition of a business. This research was conducted on a farming broiler chicken owned by Mr. Yusperi located in Hulu Sungai Selatan district, which is a poultry farming development area in South Kalimantan. The data used in this study is the expenditure of the farm during 2021. In this case, the author calculates the cost of production using the full costing and direct costing methods seeing that it is considered as the relevant methods. The cost of production resulting both from the full costing and direct costing methods gives number that are greater than the calculation of the farmside. This research is expected to improve the quality of animal husbandry management.
