Abstract

Dalam karya tulis tugas akhir ini membahas mengenai strategi pembiayaan yang dipilih oleh PT PLN dalam upaya mengembangkan energi baru dan terbarukan untuk mengatasi masalah iklim di Indonesia. Tujuan dari karya tulis ini adalah untuk mengetahui kondisi pengembangan EBT dan target bauran energi yang ingin dicapai, mengetahui kemampuan dan strategi dari PLN sebagai pengembang dan pengelola energi di sektor kelistrikan di Indonesia untuk mengembangkan energi yang ramah lingkungan, mengetahui kebutuhan dana yang dibutuhkan, dan juga tantangan yang dihadapi, serta solusi yang diambil atas tantangan tersebut. Dari penelitian yang sudah dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa PLN memiliki masalah dalam pembiayaan dimana PLN masih bergantung besar pada bantuan subsidi dan penyertaan modal negara akibat dampak Covid-19. PLN juga harus menghadapi berbagai tantangan lainnya, seperti urusan birokrasi, eksplorasi yang memiliki risiko besar, serta upaya untuk mengendalikan kebutuhan dan permintaan atas energi listrik./ This final paper discusses the financing strategy chosen by PT PLN in an effort to develop new and renewable energy to overcome climate problems in Indonesia. The purpose of this paper is to determine the conditions of NRE development and the target of the mixed energy to be achieved, to know the capabilities and strategies of PT PLN as an energy developer and manager in the electricity sector in Indonesia to develop environmentally friendly energy, to find out the funding requirements needed, and as well as the challenges faced, as well as the solutions taken to these challenges. From the research that has been done, it can be concluded that PT PLN has problems in financing where PLN still relies heavily on governmet subsidies and state capital participation due to the impact of Covid-19. PT PLN also has to face various challenges, such as bureaucratic matters, exploration which has a big risk, as well as efforts to control the need and demand for electrical energy.
