Abstract

ABSTRAK Penggunaan sistem informasi tidak sebatas pada perusahaan/organisasi komersial saja, melainkan dapat diterapkan pada organisasi pendidikan. Penerapan sistem informasi di organisasi pendidikan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi dalam pengelolaan administratif maupun dalam proses operasional sekolah. Sebagai salah satu lembaga pendidikan, SMA Negeri 6 Kota Bogor diharapkan telah menerapkan sistem informasi yang tepat dalam aktivitas operasionalnya. Selain untuk meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi sekolah, penggunaan sistem informasi di sekolah juga ditujukan agar dapat bersaing dengan sekolah lain dan lembaga pembelajaran informal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Ward and Peppard dengan menggunakan teknik analisis value chain, analisis SWOT, analisis sistem informasi internal, dan analisis sistem informasi eksternal. Diharapkan dengan analisis ini menghasilkan rekomendasi sistem informasi yang dapat digunakan di sekolah. / The use of information systems is not limited to companies/commercial organizations, but can be applied to educational organizations. The application of information systems in educational organizations aims to increase effectiveness and efficiency in administrative management as well as in school operational processes. As an educational institution, SMA Negeri 6 Kota Bogor is expected to have implemented the right information system in its operational activities. In addition to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of schools, the use of information systems in schools is also intended to be able to compete with other schools and informal learning institutions. This study uses the Ward and Peppard method using value chain analysis techniques, SWOT analysis, internal information system analysis, and external information system analysis. It is hoped that this analysis will produce recommendations for information systems that can be used in schools.
