Abstract

ABSTRAK Pandemi yang terjadi meningkatkan kemungkinan risiko yang terjadi. Masyarakat pun mulai mencari proteksi dengan menggunakan jasa asuransi. Namun banyaknya kasus kepailitan dan gagal bayar oleh perusahaan asuransi menimbulkan keraguan bagi masyarakat. Karya tulis ini akan menilai kinerja keuangan salah satu perusahaan asuransi yakni PT Bhakti Multi Artha untuk menganalisis kinerja keuangan serta dampak pandemi. Tidak hanya itu, penulis akan membandingkan hasil analisis tersebut dengan perusahaan sejenis serta ratarata industrinya. Data yang digunakan dalam analisis ini adalah data laporan keuangan tahun 2019 dan 2020. Analisis menggunakan metode early warning system dan rasio keuangan untuk mengetahui likuiditas, solvabilitas serta profitabilitas dari kedua perusahaan tersebut. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa kinerja keuangan PT Bhakti Multi Artha cenderung meningkat selama masa pandemi meski jika dibandingkan dengan rata-rata industri dan perusahaan sejenis masih belum baik. ABSTRACT Pandemic that occurs increases the possibility of that risk occurring. People began to look for protection by using insurance services. However, the number of cases of bankruptcy and default by insurance companies raises doubts for the public. This paper will assess the financial performance of an insurance company, namely PT Bhakti Multi Artha to analyze its financial performance and the impact of the pandemic. Not only that, the author will compare the results of the analysis with similar companies and industry averages. The data used in this analysis is financial report data for 2019 and 2020. The analysis uses the early warning system method and financial ratios to determine the liquidity, solvency, and profitability of the two companies. The results of the analysis show that the financial performance of PT Bhakti Multi Artha tends to increase during the pandemic. However, when it's compared to the industry average and similar companies, PT Bhakti Multi Artha still not promising
