Abstract

ABSTRAK Aset tetap merupakan aset berwujud yang dimiliki perusahaan guna menunjang kegiatan operasional entitas berupa produksi atau pengadaan barang/jasa, guna disewakan kepada pihak lain, guna kepentingan administratif, serta dimiliki dan dipakai oleh perusahaan selama lebih dari satu tahun. PT Transcoal Pacific Tbk merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di sektor transportasi logistik dan pelayaran. Dalam kegiatan operasionalnya, PT Transcoal Pacific Tbk sangat bergantung pada aset tetap yang dimiliki sehingga proporsi aset tetap terhadap total aset perusahaan sangat tinggi terutama pada tahun 2020. Oleh karena itu, kesalahan pada praktik akuntansi aset tetap dapat berakibat fatal pada kelangsungan hidup perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah kesesuaian praktik akuntansi aset tetap yang dilakukan oleh perusahaan dengan PSAK 16 tentang Aset Tetap. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan adalah studi kepustakaan dengan sumber data yang digunakan merupakan data sekunder. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyajian dan pengungkapan aset tetap yang dilakukan oleh PT Transcoal Pacific Tbk tahun 2020 telah sesuai dengan PSAK 16 tentang Aset Tetap. / Fixed assets are tangible assets owned by the company to support the entity's operational activities in the form of production or procurement of goods/services, to be rented out to other parties, for administrative purposes, and owned and used by the company for more than one year. PT Transcoal Pacific Tbk is a company engaged in the logistics and shipping transportation sector. In its operational activities, PT Transcoal Pacific Tbk relies heavily on its fixed assets, so the proportion of fixed assets to the company's total assets is very high, especially in 2020. Therefore, errors in fixed asset accounting practices can have fatal consequences for the company's survival. This study examines the suitability of fixed asset accounting practices carried out by companies with PSAK 16 concerning Fixed Assets. The method used in writing is a literature study, with the data source being secondary data. The results showed that the presentation and disclosure of fixed assets carried out by PT Transcoal Pacific Tbk in 2020 followed PSAK 16 concerning Fixed Assets.
