Abstract

Adanya kecenderungan persaingan ketat antara produk peralatan rumah tangga domestik dengan produk peralatan rumah tangga dari Tiongkok, serta merebaknya pandemi Covid-19 membawa dampak pada penurunan kondisi industri peralatan rumah tangga di Indonesia. Financial distress merupakan suatu kondisi kesulitan keuangan dimana perusahaan mengalami penurunan kinerja keuangan yang diidentifikasi dengan ketidakmampuan menghasilkan pendapatan yang cukup untuk memenuhi kewajiban keuangannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi keuangan perusahaan sub sektor industri peralatan rumah tangga yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia selama periode 2020-2021 dengan metode Ohlson (O-Score) dan metode Zavgren (Logit). Modelmodel ini menerapkan Multiple Discriminant Analysis (MDA) yang menggunakan berbagai rasio keuangan untuk mengevaluasi kondisi kesulitan keuangan perusahaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder yang bersumber dari laporan keuangan tahunan perusahaan periode 2020-2021. Hasil akhir penelitian selama periode pengamatan menggunakan metode prediksi Ohlson dan Zavgren menunjukkan bahwa semua perusahaan sub sektor industri peralatan rumah tangga yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia berada dalam kondisi financial distress dan berpotensi mengalami kebangkrutan, kecuali pada PT Kedaung Indah Can Tbk. (KICI) pada tahun 2021 yang tidak berpotensi mengalami kebangkrutan menurut metode Ohlson. / There is a tendency for intense competition between domestic household appliances products and household appliances products from China, as well as the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic which has had an impact on the decline in the condition of the household appliances industry in Indonesia. Financial distress is a condition of financial difficulty where the company experiences a decline in financial performance which is identified by the inability to generate sufficient income to meet its financial obligations. This study aims to determine the financial condition of the household appliances industry sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2020-2021 using the Ohlson (O-Score) method and the Zavgren (Logit) method. These models apply Multiple Discriminant Analysis (MDA) which uses various financial ratios to evaluate the company's financial difficulties. This study uses secondary data sourced from the company's annual financial statements for the period of 2020-2021. The final result of the research during the observation period using the Ohlson and Zavgren prediction method shows that all sub-sector companies of the household appliance industry listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange are in state of financial distressed and have the potential to experience bankruptcy, except for PT Kedaung Indah Can Tbk. (KICI) in 2021 which has no potential for bankruptcy according to the Ohlson method.
