Abstract
Aset tetap merupakan salah satu bagian dari akun aset pada neraca yang dapat ditemukan dalam laporan keuangan Satuan Kerja Perangkat Daerah (SKPD). Keberadaan aset tetap sangat krusial pada setiap entitas karena aset tetap berfungsi sebagai pemberi informasi tentang aset organisasi yang akan membantu memperoleh pelaporan keuangan yang akurat, penilaian bisnis, dan analisis keuangan yang menyeluruh. Setiap entitas akuntansi dan pelaporan keuangan memiliki kebijakan akuntansi untuk mencatat, mengukur, dan menyajikan setiap akunnya, termasuk aset. Standar untuk akuntansi asset tetap tercantum di dalam PSAP nomor7. Dalam karya tulis ini, penulis akan membahas tentang penerapan akuntansi asset tetap pada Disdukcapil Kabupaten Karo. Penulisan karya tulis ini bertujuan untuk Memahami kebijakan akuntansi aset tetap Disdukcapil Kabupaten Karo pada tahun 2019 dan tahun 2020, dan untuk mengetahui apakah kebijakan tersebut sudah sesuai dengan PSAP nomor 7. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan dalam penulisan karya tulis ini adalah metode studi kepustakaan, observasi, dan studi dokumen / Fixed asset is one part of the asset account on the balance sheet which can be found in the financial statements of Regional Work Units. The existence of fixed assets is very crucial for every entity because fixed assets serve as a provider of information about the organization's assets that will help obtain accurate financial reporting, business assessments, and comprehensive financial analysis. Each accounting and financial reporting entity has accounting policies for recording, measuring and presenting each of its accounts, including assets. Standards for accounting for fixed assets are listed in PSAP number 7. In this paper, the author will discuss the application of fixed asset accounting at the Disdukcapil Karo Regency. The writing of this paper aims to understand the fixed asset accounting policy of the Karo Regency Disdukcapil in 2019 and 2020, and to find out whether the policy is in accordance with PSAP number 7. The research method used in writing this paper is the method of literature study, observation, and document study
