Abstract

Industri makanan dan minuman diproyeksi masih menjadi salah satu sektor andalan penopang pertumbuhan manufaktur dan ekonomi nasional. Peran penting sektor strategis ini terlihat dari kontribusinya yang konsisten dan signfikan terhadap produk domestik bruto (PDB) industri non-migas serta peningkatan realisasi investasi. Pangan merupakan kebutuhan primer manusia, sebagai warga Indonesia tentu kehadiran beras menjadi sebuah keharusan dalam tatanan pangan. Produsen-produsen beras tentunya memiliki peran penting dalam pemenuhan supply beras di Indonesia, namun terdapat tantangan pada produsen-produsen beras. Khususnya pada penerapan pengendalian internal terhadap siklus pendapatan perusahaan yang belum efektif. Hal ini penting karena menjadi faktor penentu apakah perusahaan tersebut dapat terus beroperasional atau tidak. Permasalahan ini disebabkan karena minimnya pengetahuan Sistem Informasi Akuntansi (SIA) bagi para produsen kelas menengah. Untuk itulah penelitian ini menggunakan studi kasus pada salah satu perusahaan produsen beras PT Imanoog Karya Abadi. Dalam penelitian ini penulis menganalisis dari sisi proses bisnis nya, risiko pada siklus pendapatan, dan pengendalian internal atas penjualan secara kredit. Dalam membuat karya tulis ini penulis menggunakan metode studi pustaka dan wawancara. Terakhir, hasil yang diperoleh penulis selama pengerjaan karya tulis ini adalah PT Imanoog Karya Abadi memiliki risiko atas siklus pendapatannya dikarenakan kurangnya SDM dan pengetahuan tentang SIA, selanjutnya pengendalian internal yang dilakukan atas penjualan kredit memiliki beberapa kelemahan, dalam hal ini penulis memberikan usulan perbaikan atas pengendalian penjualan kredit nya agar lebih efektif lagi. / The food and beverage industry is projected to remain one of the mainstay sectors supporting manufacturing growth and the national economy. The important role of this strategic sector can be seen from its consistent and significant contribution to the gross domestic product (GDP) of the non-oil and gas industry as well as increasing investment realization. Food is a primary human need, as Indonesian citizens of course the presence of rice is a must in the food order. Rice producers certainly have an important role in fulfilling rice supply in Indonesia, but there are challenges for rice producers. Especially in the implementation of internal control on the company's revenue cycle which has not been effective. This is important because it becomes a determining factor whether the company can continue to operate or not. This problem is caused by the lack of knowledge of Accounting Information Systems (AIS) for middle-class producers. For this reason, this research uses a case study of one of the rice producing companies, PT Imanoog Karya Abadi. In this study, the authors analyze in terms of business processes, risk in the revenue cycle, and internal control over credit sales. In making this paper the author uses the method of library research and interviews. Finally, the results obtained by the author during the work of this paper are that PT Imanoog Karya Abadi has a risk on its revenue cycle due to lack of human resources and knowledge of AIS, then the internal control carried out on credit sales has several weaknesses, in this case the author proposes improvements to control credit sales to be even more effective.
