Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak investasi pemerintah non permanen terhadap potensi financial distress PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk. tahun 2019-2021 dengan metode Altman Z-Score. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan dengan mengumpulkan data dari berbagai sumber resmi yang relevan dengan topik yang dibahas. Informasi yang dikumpulkan berasal dari laporan keuangan dan tahunan perusahaan, jurnal, internet, dan sumber lainnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk. pada periode Q1 2019 sampai dengan Q4 2021 mendapatkan Z-Score < 1,81 bahkan negatif, artinya perusahaan termasuk dalam kriteria tidak sehat. Tren potensi kebangkrutan PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk. 2019-2021 menunjukkan hasil yang berfluktuasi di setiap kuartalnya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dana investasi dari pemerintah belum dapat mengurangi potensi financial distress perusahaan. Dengan demikian, diharapkan bahwa PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk. mampu memperbaiki kinerja perusahaan dengan mewujudkan efisiensi dan optimalisasi operasi sehingga dapat keluar dari potensi kebangkrutan dan meraih pencapaian yang lebih tinggi, proses tranformasi BUMN harus terus dilakukan dengan baik, serta Kementerian Perindustrian harus tetap menjalankan komitmennya untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan industri baja nasional./ This study aims to determine the impact of non-permanent government investment on the potential financial distress of PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk. years 2019-2021 with the Altman Z-Score method. This study uses a literature study method by collecting data from various official sources relevant to the topics discussed. The information collected comes from the company's financial and annual reports, journals, the internet, and other sources. The results showed that PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk. in the period Q1 2019 to Q4 2021, the Z-Score <1.81 was even negative, meaning that the company was included in the unhealthy criteria. The trend of a potential bankruptcy of PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk. 2019-2021 shows results that fluctuate in each quarter. Results based on the research, investment funds from the government have not been able to reduce the potential financial difficulties of the company. Thus, it is expected that PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk. able to improve the company's performance by realizing efficiency and optimizing operations so that it can get out of the potential for bankruptcy and the achievement must be higher, the BUMN transformation process continues to be carried out well, and the Ministry of Industry must continue to carry out its commitment to increase the growth of the national steel industry.
