Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 yang menghambat mobilitas masyarakat memberikan dampak negatif dan begitu masif mengguncang keseimbangan bisnis sektor pariwisata terutama pada perusahaan subindustri hotels, resorts, dan cruise lines. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah Covid-19 memberikan dampak yang signifikan pada kinerja keuangan perusahaan subindustri hotels, resorts, dan cruise lines yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI). Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 30 perusahaan pada subindustri hotels, resorts, dan cruise lines yang terdaftar di BEI. Metode sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dan didapat sebanyak 15 perusahaan yang memenuhi kriteria. Variabel yang digunakan adalah Operating Return on Assets (ROA) dan Return on Equity (ROE). Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif dengan melakukan uji komparatif. Sampel dependen yang digunakan akan melalui mengujian statistik paired sample atau wilcoxon signed rank dengan menggunakan SPSS versi 25 dan bantuan Microsoft Excel untuk mengolah data. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat perbedaan signifikan pada ROA dan ROE pada tahun 2019 dan 2020. Tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan pada ROA dan ROE pada tahun 2020 dan 2021 serta keseluruhan periode yaitu 2019 sampai 2021. / The Covid-19 pandemic which hampers people’s mobility have had a negative and strong impact that shocked the balance of the tourism sector business, especially for hotels, resorts, and cruise lines sub-industry companies. The purpose of this study is to find out if Coivd-19 has a significant impact on the financial performance of hotels, resorts, and cruise lines sub-industry companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The population of this study was 30 hotels, resorts, and cruise lines sub-industry companies listed on IDX. The sampling method used is purposive sampling and obtained samples from as many as 15 companies meet the criteria. The variables used in this study are Operating Return on Assets (ROA) dan Return on Equity (ROE). The method used in this study is descriptive analysis by conducting a comparative test. The dependent sample used will be tested with statictic test either paired sample or wilcoxon signed rank using SPSS 25 version and assistance of Microsoft Excel to process the data. The result show that there were significant differences in ROA and ROE in 2019 and 2020. There were not significant differences in ROA and ROE in 2020 and 2021, and the whole priode in 2019 to 2021.
