Abstract

SMA Negeri 1 Kota Kediri merupakan sekolah menengah atas di Kota Kediri yang menjadi salah satu SMA favorit di Kota Kediri yang telah menggunakan sistem informasi dalam melakukan proses bisnisnya. Mengetahui apa saja proses bisnis tersebut serta kelebihan dan kelemahan atas sistem informasi yang digunakan pada tiap-tiap proses bisnis tersebut merupakan hal yang penting agar dapat melakukan proses bisnis secara efektif dan efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis value chain sistem informasi sekolah berbasis pendekatan Ward dan Peppard di SMA Negeri 1 Kota Kediri dengan teori yang ada. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan memanfaatkan wawancara dan studi kepustakaan sebagai teknik dalam pengumpulan data. Pembahasan akan lebih difokuskan pada proses bisnis, sistem informasi yang digunakan, dan SWOT yang ada di SMA Negeri 1 Kota Kediri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan sistem informasi pada setiap proses bisnis di SMA Negeri 1 Kota Kediri sudah cukup baik dan memiliki SWOT yang cukup baik untuk menjalankan proses bisnisnya. Pada SMA Negeri 1 Kota Kediri terdapat beberapa kelemahan dan ancaman dalam proses bisnisnya. Beberapa peningkatan dalam pengintegrasian sistem informasi di proses bisnisnya juga disarankan untuk diterapkan pada SMA Negeri 1 Kota Kediri agar dapat mengatasi kelemahan dan ancaman tersebut./ SMA Negeri 1 Kediri City is a high school in Kediri City which is one of the favorite high schools in Kediri City that has used information systems in carrying out its business processes. Knowing what these business processes are and the advantages and disadvantages of the information systems used in each of these business processes is important in order to be able to carry out business processes effectively and efficiently. This study aims to determine and analyze the value chain of school information systems based on the Ward and Peppard approach at SMA Negeri 1 Kediri City with existing theories. The analytical method used is a qualitative method by utilizing interviews and literature studies as techniques in data collection. The discussion will focus more on business processes, information systems used, and SWOT in SMA Negeri 1 Kediri City. The results showed that the implementation of information systems in every business process at SMA Negeri 1 Kediri City was good enough and had a good enough SWOT to run its business processes. At SMA Negeri 1 Kota Kediri there are several weaknesses and threats in its business processes. Several improvements in the integration of information systems in business processes are also recommended to be applied to SMA Negeri 1 Kediri City in order to overcome these weaknesses and threats.
