Abstract
Abstrak Persediaan bahan baku merupakan salah satu aset yang memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kelangsungan usaha, khususnya perusahaan manufaktur serta nilai dari persediaan bahan baku umumnya material. Oleh sebab itu, efisiensi biaya persediaan bahan baku merupakan hal yang penting untuk diperhatikan. Efisiensi persediaan bahan baku dapat diperhitungkan dengan dua metode yakni metode economic order quantity dan metode just in time. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan penerapan metode apa yang menghasilkan biaya persediaan bahan baku yang lebih efisien. Biaya persediaan bahan baku yang difokuskan pada penelitian ini adalah biaya pemesanan dan biaya penyimpanan. Objek penelitian ini adalah UMKM Bali Tantri Antiques, sebuah UMKM yang memproduksi pot air (belong) dengan motif ukiran khas Bali. Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis kuantitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode studi kepustakaan, wawancara, dan observasi. Data yang diolah dan dianalisis dalam penelitian ini adalah data pembelian dan pemakaian bahan baku UMKM Bali Tantri Antiques selama tahun 2021. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perhitungan biaya persediaan bahan baku dengan metode just in time menghasilkan biaya persediaan bahan baku yang lebih efisien untuk UMK Bali Tantri Antiques dibandingkan dengan metode economic order quantity / Raw material inventory is one of the assets that has a significant effect on business continuity, especially for manufacturing companies and the value of raw material inventory is generally material. Therefore, it is important to pay attention to the cost efficiency of raw material inventory. The efficiency of raw material inventory can be calculated using two methods, that is economic order quantity method and just in time method. This study aims to compare the application of what method produces more efficient raw material inventory costs. The cost of raw material inventory which is focused on this research is the ordering cost and storage cost. The object of this research is MSME Bali Tantri Antiques, an MSME that produces water pots called belong with Balinese carving motifs. The analysis used is quantitative analysis with a case study approach. The method used in this research is literature study, interviews, and observation. The data that is processed and analyzed in this study is data on the purchase and use of raw materials for MSME Bali Tantri Antiques during 2021. The results of this study indicate that the calculation of the cost of raw material inventory using the just-in-time method produces more efficient raw material inventory costs for Bali Tantri Antiques compared to the economic order quantity method
