Abstract

Persediaan umumnya mencakup lebih banyak variasi barang dagang dan harus disesuaikan sejauh yang diperlukan untuk memenuhi permintaan konsumen, dengan mempertimbangkan biaya lain yang terkait dengan barang tersebut. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan pencatatan dan penilaian persediaan barang secara terus menerus terhadap jumlah persediaan untuk menentukan jumlah dan nilai barang, yang pada akhirnya perhitungan tersebut menjadi dasar bagi perusahaan untuk menentukan berapa untung atau rugi yang akan diperoleh. Penulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kebijakan akuntansi persediaan di PT Polychem Indonesia Tbk yang kemudian akan dibandingkan dengan PSAK 14 (revisi 2014). Penelitian ini akan dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan dan dokumentasi. Dari hasil analisis laporan keuangan terkait akuntansi persediaan, dapat diketahui bahwa PT Polychem Indonesia Tbk telah sesuai dengan PSAK 14. Namun, masih terdapat beberapa informasi terkait kebijakan persediaan yang masih belum sepenuhnya memenuhi persyaratan yang termuat di PSAK 14./Inventories generally include a greater variety of merchandise and should be adjusted to the extent necessary to meet consumer demand, taking into account other costs associated with the goods. Therefore, it is necessary to continuously record and evaluate the inventory of goods to determine the amount and value of goods, which in the end the calculation becomes the basis for the company to determine how much profit or loss will be obtained. This writing aims to determine the inventory accounting policies at PT Polychem Indonesia Tbk which will then be compared with PSAK 14 (revised 2014). This research will be analyzed using literature study and documentation method. From the results of the analysis of financial statements related to inventory accounting, it can be seen that PT Polychem Indonesia Tbk has complied with PSAK 14. However, there is still some information related to the inventory policy that still does not fully meet the requirements contained in PSAK 14.
