Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui sektor-sektor ekonomi yang menjadi sektor unggulan dalam pertumbuhan ekonomi kabupaten dan kota di Jawa Barat dan untuk mengetahui korelasi antara struktur perekonomian dan PDRB per kapita kabupaten dan kota di Jawa Barat dengan waktu penelitian difokuskan pada tahun 2015—2019. Sektor ekonomi unggulan akan dianalisis menggunakan metode Location Quotient, Shift Share, Model Rasio Pertumbuhan (MRP), dan Overlay. Serta korelasi antara struktur perekonomian terhadap PDRB per kapita akan dianalisis menggunakan analisis Bivariate Correlation. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa setiap kabupaten/kota mempunyai karakteristik perekonomian yang berbeda-beda dengan sektor unggulan yang berbeda-beda juga dan sektor sekunder yakni sektor industri pengolahan menjadi sektor yang produktif untuk mendorong PDRB per kapita suatu daerah. Hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai masukan dan pertimbangan bagi pemerintah daerah dalam mengoptimalkan pengelolaan dan pengembangan sektor ekonomi yang memiliki keunggulan komparatif. Serta sebagai masukan dan dukungan bagi pemerintah daerah dalam upaya meningkatkan PDRB per kapita daerahnya. / This research is conducted to determine the economic sectors that are the leading sectors in the economic growth of districts and cities in West Java and to find out the correlation between the economic structure and GRDP per capita of districts and cities in West Java with the time of research being focused on 2015-2019. Leading economic sectors will be analyzed using Location Quotient, Shift Share, Growth Ratio Model, and Overlay method. And the correlation between economic structure and GRDP per capita will be analyzed using Bivariate Correlation analysis. The results of this research indicate that each district/city has different economic characteristics with different leading sectors and the secondary sector, the manufacturing sector, becomes a productive sector to encourage the GRDP per capita of a region. The results of this study can be used as suggestion and consideration for local governments in optimizing the management and development of economic sectors that have a comparative advantage. As well as support for local governments in an effort to increase their PDRB per capita.
